Overview
ArtLens lets people preview art on their own wall in AR, at real scale, before spending a euro on it. It is a Flutter-only build right now: no backend wired up yet, just the app, the AR flow, and a growing artwork library. I am building it solo, UI and AR logic first, backend later.
Challenge
Buying art online is a guess: a piece that looks right in a listing photo can be the wrong size or tone entirely once it is on the actual wall. "Stop guessing, start seeing."
What I built
Point the camera at a wall and ArtLens places the artwork in AR at true scale, detecting walls, shadows, and lighting automatically, no manual corner-dragging. A library of artwork by category, a way to import your own photos, and a subscription tier for unlimited visualizations and HD export.
Outcome
In active development, Flutter only for now. The onboarding flow, AR placement, artwork library, and paywall are built; backend and real art data come next.
